Not much better than good friends & good football

Odie played in Oklahoma City this weekend, where they slaughtered the Yarddawgs! We got second row seats and Tasha & her NEW husband came to watch Odie. We had a really great time!

I've been horrible about posting pictures, so here are this weekends pictures PLUS a couple other games mixed in!

The Talons finished their regular season 10-6 and have their first round of playoff games here in Tulsa next Saturday. They play Tampa! So, if we win, we keep on going. If we don't...well, that won't happen. :) Odie has had an amazing season. He holds every rushing record in Talons history! We are so proud of him!

He's Engaged!

My younger brother Derek & his girlfriend Nikki came to Tulsa for one of Odie's games. We went to eat & my brother PROPOSED! So, he is officially getting married! Congratulations to you both!

My Beautiful Girls

Every year, when we get Shia, we always have a "photoshoot". It's a great chance to get pictures of BOTH girls together! We are really doing great and just genuinely enjoying having our family together for the summer. When I look @ our girls, it's amazing how much they've grown! Tyiashia is a doll. She is growing up to be such a young lady! I'm so thankful to have her as a stepdaughter (even though I hate the "step" part b/c I love her like she's MINE) and she is just the BEST big sister! Paytyn is one of the smartest & most beautiful little things in the world! She has her daddy's sense of humor and loves attention! Being a mother has surpassed ALL my expectations and I wouldn't trade it for the world!

Weekend in Dallas

The Talons played in Dallas, so we decided to head down there for the weekend. The Talons beat the Vigilantes! Odie had 1 touchdown and played really well. Tyiashia is finally here! We've been trying to get her to Oklahoma for a couple weeks now, so we are overjoyed that she is finally joining us for the summer! It was so much fun that she got to come down and we headed straight to Texas to watch daddy. We got to experience Dallas and just enjoyed each others company!

A Little R & R

With our schedule being as busy as it is, we love to just have a day where we can relax and enjoy our family. So, today we decided to go swimming and cook out. Paytyn is like a fish! She can swim using floaties and absolutely LOVES jumping to her daddy and going under! :) She is the total opposite of her daddy and mommy in the water...AND that's a good thing! She is growing soooo much and is the sweetest, most caring little girl in the entire world. Oh, just thinking about her makes me get all warm and fuzzy inside! :) We are headed to Dallas this weekend for Odie's football game, so I will hopefully have our weekend in Texas pictures up soon!

Fun in the Sun

Daddy is away in Louisiana to play in Bossier-Shreveport, so we spent the weekend with GiGi & PaPa in Tonkawa. The big pool wasn't quite warm enough for Paytyn to get in, so we had to use the Slip n' Slide Uncle Derek bought us & the kiddie pool! It doesn't matter what she's doing, if she's outside, she's content!

Tulsa Shock Game

A part owner of the Tulsa Talons is also a part owner of the WNBA team: The Tulsa Shock. So, all the Talons got tickets to their game which was on ESPN 2. It was a lot of fun & it definitely won't be our last game!
